For the second year, the Boulder Transit Junction neighborhood (Iris to Walnut, 30th street to Foothills) is joining together to host a First Friday Open House! Join us for this free event during Boulder Arts Week 2025!

The Mariposa Collective will be performing at Black Lab Sports featuring performances from Mackenzie Schuller performing the work of Celia Perarnaud, Gwen Ritchie and Dancers, Jeny Jones, Shreya Venkatesh performing the work of Rukmini Vijakumar, Anna Pillot and Caroline Butcher, and Cassy Clark, Mira Kaplan, and Jethro Paine performing the work of Alli Jones. 

First Friday events include:

- Will Day’s Open Studio Reception at Black Lab Sports

- BC Interiors Student Coffee House and Art Show (doors open at 5:30)

- Mariposa Performances 2 SHOWS!! 6:30 - 7pm, 7:20-8pm

- Open House and live drawing classes at Wilderness Art Sudios, demos, handmade art, music and more!

- Discounts at Sanitas Brewing and Zeal!
